How pricing works
School-Year License
A School‑Year License covers your school’s full academic year. If you join partway through the year, your price is automatically pro‑rated based on how much of the year remains.
Monthly Billing (Optional)
Monthly billing is a flexible, pay‑as‑you‑go option. You pay one month at a time during your school’s active year. You can cancel anytime, and your access continues through the end of the paid month. Monthly billing automatically pauses at the end of your school’s active year. You can restart monthly billing when your next school year begins.
Automatic Renewal
Only School‑Year Licenses renew automatically. You will receive a renewal reminder well before your card is charged. Monthly plans do not renew automatically; they simply pause at the end of your school’s active year.
Questions
- Does The Yearbook App create or print our yearbook?
- No. The Yearbook App is a workspace for collecting, reviewing and organizing photos, stories and school information. We do not create a yearbook for your school. We do not provide desktop publishing, page layout, book publishing, printing, binding or delivery. You decide which submitted or uploaded materials to use and how to use them, whether for your school-year yearbook or another school project, subject to contributor permissions, school policies and applicable law. If you choose to make a yearbook, you use your own layout tools and your own printing company. Uploading, approving or saving material here does not place it in a finished book or publish it.
- Why is pricing based on the school year?
- Yearbooks are school-year projects, not calendar-year projects.
- What if we join mid-year?
- Your price is automatically pro-rated.
- Is sales tax included?
- Prices shown do not include tax. Sales tax may be added at checkout depending on your school’s location. Schools with a tax exemption can reach out through Ask a question.
- Can we cancel?
- Yes — anytime before renewal.
- Do we lose access if we cancel?
- No. A School‑Year License keeps access through the end of your school year. Monthly access continues through the end of the paid month.
- Do you offer refunds?
- No refunds for partial school-year usage.
