Every Student Remembered.
Getting Started
A first look at The Yearbook App and the steps to begin.
Does The Yearbook App create or print our yearbook?
No. The Yearbook App is a workspace for collecting, reviewing and organizing photos, stories and school information. We do not create a yearbook for your school. We do not provide desktop publishing, page layout, book publishing, printing, binding or delivery. You decide which submitted or uploaded materials to use and how to use them, whether for your school-year yearbook or another school project, subject to contributor permissions, school policies and applicable law. If you choose to make a yearbook, you use your own layout tools and your own printing company. Uploading, approving or saving material here does not place it in a finished book or publish it.
Welcome.
The Yearbook App was made for advisors who want every student in the book. You can set everything up yourself, one step at a time. Nothing to schedule, no one to call.
What The Yearbook App is
A workspace for your school year. You collect photos, tag the students in them, and see who has appeared so far and who hasn’t.
How to sign in
- Open The Yearbook App and choose Sign in.
- Enter your school email and password, or choose Continue with Google.
- New here? Choose Create account and confirm the email we send you.
- Your first visit walks you through a short setup. Progress saves as you go, so you can stop and come back anytime.
How to upload photos
- Go to Moments and choose Add Moment.
- Add a photo and a short title.
- Fill in What, Where and When if you know them — they’re optional.
- Save. Your photo stays private to your school’s workspace and its invited co-advisors.
For many photos, choose Upload photos in Moments or Advisor Review; each completed photo becomes an untagged Moment draft. Families and staff can send batches through your Community Uploads link. Their photos wait privately for your review. JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC/HEIF are accepted up to 25 MB each; iPhone photos convert automatically.
How to import your student roster
- Save your roster from your spreadsheet or student information system as a CSV file.
- Include a name column (or first-name and last-name columns) and a grade column. Common headings like “Student Name” or “Grade Level” are recognized.
- Open Settings and choose the roster import, then pick your CSV file.
- Review the preview. Rows that need a look are flagged so you can fix a name or choose a grade; duplicates are marked.
- Save. Your students appear in Students and Coverage.
Roster import is free and part of setup. You can also add students one at a time in Students.
How to tag students
- Open a photo.
- Choose the students you recognize from your roster.
- Save. Each tagged student now counts toward their coverage.

One step at a time

If something isn’t working
- I didn’t get a confirmation email.
- Check your spam or promotions folder. School filters sometimes hold new emails for a few minutes.
- I forgot my password.
- Choose Sign in, then Forgot password, and follow the link we send you.
- I only see the setup screens.
- That’s expected the first time. Finish each step and the full workspace opens. Back keeps everything you’ve entered.
