Every Student Remembered.
Moments
The small, everyday photos that make a yearbook feel true.
What a Moment is
A Moment is one photo or memory from the school year, with the people and details that belong to it. It can be a big event or an ordinary Tuesday.
Why Moments matter
Students remember the hallway laughs and the lunch table as much as the big games. Moments hold the everyday life of a school.
How Moments help quiet students
Quiet students rarely appear at the biggest events. Moments meet them where they already are: the library, a small club, a classroom project.
Good Moments look like
- Classroom
- A science lab, a group project, a reading corner.
- Student life
- Lunch tables, hallway between classes, the bus line.
- Small clubs
- Chess club, robotics, art club, student council.
- Achievements
- A science fair ribbon, a first recital, a finished mural.
- Events
- Spirit week, field day, the winter concert.
How to create a Moment
- Go to Moments and choose New entry.
- Add the photo and a short title.
- Add What, Where and When, and link an event if there is one.
- Tag the students and staff in it.
- Save. You can edit it anytime.
Community photos become Moments when you choose Add to yearbook as Moment in the review queue.
How Moments improve coverage
Every tagged student in a Moment gains one photo toward their coverage. A handful of everyday Moments can bring a student from zero to fully covered.
If something isn’t working
- My photo won’t upload.
- Try a smaller JPG or PNG file and check your connection. Large phone photos can take a moment.
- I picked the wrong event.
- Open the Moment, choose the right event and save.
- Should this be a Story instead?
- Use a Story for longer writing built around several Moments. A single photo works best as a Moment.
