Family Upload

How families and staff can send photos, privately and with your review.

What family upload is

Family upload lets the people who know your students best — parents, grandparents, siblings, coaches and club advisors — send photos straight to you. Their photos never appear in the yearbook on their own. They wait privately for your review.

How to share your upload link

  1. Open Community Uploads and copy your school’s upload link.
  2. Share it in a newsletter, an email, or a poster from the Share Kit.
  3. Families open the link — no account needed — and follow the short form.

What families are asked for

Who
The students in the photo, so you can tag them quickly.
What
A short description of the moment.
Where and When
The place and date, so the photo lands in the right event.
Permission
A checkbox confirming they may share the photo. Nothing is submitted without it.

What happens next

  1. The photo arrives in your review queue, visible only to you.
  2. You look it over, tag the students you recognize, and decide.
  3. Choose Add to yearbook as a Moment or Story, or set it aside.
  4. Families receive a thank-you note. Their photo stays private until reviewed.

Why this matters

Families see parts of school life no staff member can: weekend tournaments, recitals, quiet club meetings. Every photo they send is a chance to include a student who might otherwise be missed.

If something isn’t working

A family says their upload didn’t arrive.
Check the review queue first — uploads can take a minute to appear. Then confirm they used your school’s upload link.
I received a photo without permission confirmed.
It can’t happen — nothing is submitted unless the permission box is checked.
I want to remove a submitted photo.
Open the review queue and set the photo aside. It stays private and never enters the yearbook.
