Every Student Remembered.

Saving Your Work

How your work is kept safe, even if your laptop crashes, freezes or goes missing.

The short answer

Your work saves itself. Every student, staff member, event, Moment, Story and photo is kept safely online the moment you choose Add or Save. Nothing lives only on your laptop.

What is saved, and when

Saved records
Students, staff, events, Moments, Stories and approved photos are stored online as soon as you save them.
Photos
Photos are kept in your school’s private storage, not on your computer.
Setup progress
Guided setup remembers each step you finish, so you can pick up where you left off.
Unfinished writing
While you type a Moment or Story, a draft is kept on that computer. If the page closes before you save, your words are waiting the next time you open the form there.

If your laptop crashes, freezes or is stolen

  1. Use any other computer, tablet or phone.
  2. Open The Yearbook and sign in with the same account.
  3. Everything you saved is right where you left it.

If a laptop is lost or stolen, change your password from the sign-in page to keep your account safe.

Is there a save button?

Each form has its own Add or Save button. Once you choose it, that work is safe. There is no separate “save everything” step.

If something isn’t working

My browser closed while I was writing.
Open the same form on the same computer. Your draft fills back in. Choose Save to keep it for good.
I see my draft on one computer but not another.
Drafts stay on the computer where you typed them. Saved work appears everywhere.
Something I saved is missing.
Use Ask a question and choose to reach a person. The team will reply by email.
